Role Overview
We are a premier residential design-build firm experiencing continued growth in the Greater Boston and North Shore area. We are seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing and Business Development to lead our marketing initiatives and expand our network of referral partners.
In this dual-impact role, you will be responsible for defining and strengthening our brand presence in the luxury residential market while building meaningful relationships that support a strong pipeline of high-quality projects. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, managing the company’s marketing initiatives while actively contributing to content creation, digital platforms, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and business development strategy that strengthens brand visibility, supports revenue goals, and drives long-term growth.
- Track performance metrics, marketing analytics, and lead trends to continually refine marketing initiatives.
Relationship Management
- Identify and cultivate high-trust partnerships with architects, interior designers, realtors, luxury developers, and other industry professionals who influence residential renovation projects.
- Maintain and grow relationships with referral partners to strengthen the company’s reputation and referral network.
Brand Stewardship
- Lead and actively manage the company’s digital presence across two websites, social platforms, and industry platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Houzz.
- Maintain consistent, high-end brand identity across all marketing platforms, public-facing materials, and digital/print content.
Digital Marketing & Content Management
- Lead and manage the company’s full marketing ecosystem, including two websites, social platforms, digital advertising, reputation management, and content strategy.
- Update website content, including project pages, blogs, and photo galleries, with technical support as needed.
- Develop and execute social media strategy and create/manage content such as project storytelling, photography, video production, and marketing collateral.
- Monitor and maintain the company’s online reputation across Google, Houzz, and other platforms, including responding to reviews.
Lead Generation
- Develop initiatives that generate and qualify marketing leads for the design and estimating teams.
- Manage digital advertising initiatives, including Google Ads and social media campaigns.
- Monitor marketing performance, engagement metrics, and campaign effectiveness to refine strategies.
Market Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regional market dynamics.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the company’s positioning in residential remodeling, design-build, architecture, interior design, or luxury residential real estate.
- Recommend new marketing initiatives or services that support growth.
Public Representation
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and local community functions.
- Participate in Chamber of Commerce events and professional networking opportunities to strengthen brand visibility.
- Support the company’s reputation as a trusted leader in the design-build community.
Qualifications
Experience
- 10 years of experience in marketing, business development, or brand leadership.
- Experience within residential remodeling, design-build, architecture, interior design, or luxury residential real estate is strongly preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced marketing certifications are a plus.
Skills
- Strong marketing strategy and brand development experience.
- Proven ability to build professional relationships and develop referral networks.
- Experience managing digital marketing platforms, websites, and social media.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Technical Savvy
- Proficiency with website platforms (WordPress), digital advertising tools, and social media platforms.
- Proficiency with Google Ads and digital advertising platforms, including campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Experience with CRM systems is beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $125,000 per year
