What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Teacher position at McGuire Child Development Center?
Part Time Teacher Position:
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 1200PM-5:30 (OPS holidays and summer time)
- Pay is hourly and based on work experience. 20-35 Hours Per week during OPS holiday times.
Requirements:
- 18 Years or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a background check
- Willing to obtain Basic Health and Safety trainings as per Licensing Regulations
- Knowledgeable of the social, emotional, and creative needs of children
- Execute daily health and safety procedures in accordance with the Department of Health and Louisiana State Licensing Regulations
- Appropriately supervise children to keep them safe at all times
- Assist children with activities of daily life (e.g., diapering, feeding, dressing)
- Able to communicate with parents and colleges effectively and professionally
- Dependable transportation
- Valid Drivers License
Full Time Teacher Position:
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:30 (OPS holiday closures and summer time)
- Pay is hourly and based on work experience. 30-40Hours Per week during OPS holiday times.
Requirements:
- 18 Years or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a background check
- Willing to obtain Basic Health and Safety trainings as per Licensing Regulations
- Knowledgeable of the social, emotional, and creative needs of children
- Execute daily health and safety procedures in accordance with the Department of Health and Louisiana State Licensing Regulations
