Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain detailed medical histories
- Assist providers with medical and surgical dermatology procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and instruments
- Perform scribing duties and accurate documentation in EMR (EMA)
- Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions
- Handle biopsies, specimen labeling, and lab coordination
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (dermatology experience preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with EMR systems (Modernizing Medicine EMA preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Skills:
- Dermatology-specific experience preferred
- Scribing experience
- Experience with prior authorizations and patient callbacks
Compensation & Benefits:

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, full-time, 1 half Saturday a month (in office)
- Occasional early or late shifts depending on patient volume
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
