Role Description
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing marketing content across all McGrew channels, including social media, website, and advertising platforms. This role reporting to the Director of Marketing, will work closely with the Marketing Videographer and Marketing Graphic Designer to plan campaigns, create materials, and ensure brand consistency across all media.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create strong, consistent, and engaging content across all McGrew Equipment channels.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Videographer to plan and produce video content for social media and YouTube.
- Write, review, edit, and update content for the McGrew Equipment Company blog.
- Partner with the Videographer to script, plan, and produce a company podcast.
- Manage marketing projects including email campaigns, flyers, brochures, and billboard artwork in coordination with the Marketing Graphic Designer.
- Promote content on social media platforms and track engagement monthly.
- Work with the Marketing Graphic Designer to develop bi-weekly Lancaster Farming ads and other campaign materials.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the McGrew Equipment website in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and external vendors.
- Monitor and maintain accurate Google and Apple location data.
- Support marketing campaigns aimed at increasing auction attendance, consignments, and equipment sales through local outreach and digital initiatives.
- Coordinate advertising and promotions for off-site auctions, including ad creation, purchasing media space, running social campaigns, and attending events.
- Track and report on marketing campaign performance — including social media metrics, email analytics, website performance, and ad ROI — and provide monthly updates to the Director of Marketing.
- Photograph equipment at the Seven Valleys location as needed and upload images into company systems.
- Participate in weekly marketing meetings and actively contribute ideas for new content, campaigns, and platforms.
- Coordinate with marketing vendors, media outlets, and advertising partners to ensure consistent brand presence across all channels.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content creation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with social media management tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and marketing performance tracking.
- Experience in the heavy equipment or auction industry a plus.
Essential Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and may infrequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
