Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow.
- Help with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and culinary staff during busy service periods.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to maintain a clean working environment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Participate in team efforts to provide exceptional hospitality to guests by maintaining a clean dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is essential.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed within the kitchen operations.
