What do I need as a State Tested Nursing Assistant - STNA with McGregor?
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current and valid State Tested Nursing Certificate in Ohio
What will I do as a State Tested Nursing Assistant - STNA with McGregor?
- Assist residents with activities of daily living which include bathing and assist with baths, mouth care, hair care, toileting, skin care, nail care, eating, transferring, and ambulation.
- Perform restorative nursing programs for residents as assigned, document results, outcomes, or refusals of care.
- Maintain a safe environment for each resident; follow all care plans as indicated.
- Make resident rounds routinely report findings to the charge nurse.
- Respond to resident's lights promptly and provide necessary assistance to the resident.
- Perform delegated tasks such as R.O.M. exercises, application of TED hose, applying skin cream/location, and taking BP, pulse, respiration, temp, weights according to policy and procedure and report completion and results to Charge Nurse.
- Document complete and factual resident information on appropriate records in a timely manner.
