What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist, PACE position at McGregor Foundation?
McGregor PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a community-based service program that provides in-home healthcare services to the elderly as an alternative to nursing home placement, allowing Seniors to remain at home.
As a Receptionist at McGregor PACE, this role is responsible for supporting administration and assisting as site receptionist.
Responsibilities:
- Greets and directs all visitors and participants;
- Answers and directs agency phone calls. Uses paging system as necessary;
- Maintains customer service and professionalism while working with the public;
- Provides general information regarding PACE and McGregor PACE;
- Projects a positive image of McGregor PACE and the services provided;
- Receives and routes mail; prepares and sends outgoing mail, including inter-office delivery and courier service;
- Assists in maintaining organized, accessible and complete files, in compliance with administrative needs and organizational policies;
- Copies, collates and faxes. Prepares documents and correspondence, including word processing;
- Prepares and collates information for mailings;
- Inventories office supplies;
- Understands and helps to implement safety and security protocols.
- Performs additional administrative support tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, with coursework or experience in office management, required
- Experience in an office setting, including reception duties, supply/equipment inventory and maintenance
- Desire to work with the elderly
- Detail oriented; ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Windows environment and Microsoft Office applications, required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- BILINGUAL IS A PLUS!
