Hi, my name is Chelsea Fulton and I'm a customer success representative here at McGraw Hill. Personally, the best part of my job is the fact that I get to combine two of my favorite things, education and customer success. As a customer success representative, my main focus is, you guessed it, the customer. My day, week, and monthly plan is centered around customer engagement, with the goal of retaining and expanding our business. In this role, we as customer success representatives focus on customers who already use our product, while our partner, the Learning Technology representative, they're out busy securing new business. Our customers are shared, and what is special about McGraw Hill is that our customers have a dedicated representative for both secured and prospected business. Everyone is supported. Daily, I have the privilege of interacting with educators who are passionate about their jobs, and as a former teacher, I feel I'm able to have in-depth pedagogical conversations. Through these conversations, which could be via Zoom, phone, or a campus visit, I'm able to add value to their course. Deep knowledge of our product enables me to support instructors by finding solutions to needs, and expand student achievement through meaningful assignments. Ensuring engagement opportunities with customers, problem-solving in a pinch, and planning ahead are daily activities as a customer success representative. Through these communications, I'm able to dive deep into course design and help instructors see how powerful Connect or SIMnet can be when implemented in their course.
