“A Day in the Life”
- Lead and inspire a team of calibration and repair technicians, ensuring safe, efficient workflows and consistent, high-quality output.
- Own day-to-day calibration and repair operations to support rental equipment readiness, turnaround time, and service commitments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain objectives, policies, procedures, processes, and systems that support operational excellence and scalability.
- Monitor laboratory performance using key metrics (turnaround time, throughput, quality, utilization, and on-time delivery), and implement improvements to meet business and customer demands.
- Serve as the technical and operational escalation point for complex calibration, repair, and quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 QMS and ISO/IEC 17025 calibration laboratory accreditation, including audit preparedness and corrective action management.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean principles to reduce waste, improve flow, and increase efficiency in a high-volume environment.
- Partner with Operations, Sales, and Customer Service teams to align lab priorities with rental demand and customer expectations.
- Support Company, Division, and Department financial objectives through effective labor planning, productivity improvements, and cost control.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company and customer information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to proactively address customer needs and prevent service disruptions.

"Must Haves"
- 10 years of electrical metrology experience in a calibration, test, or measurement environment.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience, leading technical teams.
- Proven success as a strong, hands-on leader who coaches, mentors, and holds teams accountable.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting rental and service operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead autonomously while aligning with broader operational goals.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply internal and external calibration and quality requirements.

- Proficiency with calibration management systems, ERP tools, and other lab-related software.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Military PMEL training.
