JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: On-site Community Association Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY
The On-Site Community Association Manager is responsible for providing professional guidance to the community associations we serve.
- Responsible in supervising the operations and administration of the Association in accordance with the Association’s governing documents
- Primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners as needed
- Provide vendor management oversight, including set-up, bid process, through contract and oversight
- Code and approve invoices for final Board signature and approval
- Develop annual budget for Board review
- Review monthly financial reports along with supply summary report
- Provide and/or oversee recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation
- Monitor homeowner delinquencies and adhere to the collection policy in place
- Attend Board meetings per the management agreement, and community events as needed
- Prepare Board packets one week in advance of board meetings
- Direct manager of any on-site employees
- Provides weekly updates to Board regarding updates on open items and ongoing reporting
- Oversees and/or walks the community weekly to ensure the highest standards are maintained for common areas and the violation process is upheld to achieve compliance with the community documents
- Weekly community inspections
- Assist the board with hiring contractors and insurance carriers to maintain and protect the community
- Other duties as assigned.
GENERAL DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
- Knowledge of communities/property/real estate and homeowners associations.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of Community Association experience
- Illinois Community Association Manager License Required **Must have license to qualify for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
