What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night CNA Caregiver position at McGee Guest Home?
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Graduate of state approved CAN program and Current Washington State License
· 70/75 hour basic training
· Dementia/Mental Health Specialty/Orientation and Safety Training
· Maintain Yearly Continuing Education Credits- 12 hours
· Current and Maintained CPR
· Current and Maintained First Aid
· Current and Maintained Food workers Card
· TB test either blood draw or both steps 1 & 2
· Must Pass Fingerprint background check- Once in lifetime and Yearly Date of Birth Background check
Night Position hours are 9pm-7am
Schedule is 4 day on 4 days off
Weekend availability is a must
Position Duties:
Assist residents with medications assistance.
Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed- using the toilet, incontinence care, and transferring into wheelchair.
Using our computer based eMAR system -PointClickCare- to record medication administrations, vitals, behavioral changes, and notes.
Answering phone calls.
Assisting with light laundry and bed changes if required.
When time allows assist with nightly cleaning such as filling salt and pepper shakers, wiping down dining hall, mopping floors, and prepping for breakfast.
For safety you this position requires you be in the facility during the entirety of your shift. To accommodate this you will be compensated paid breaks and lunch.
