What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local CDL Class B Straight Truck Drivers. Home Daily. 1st Shift. Weekends Off position at MCG Tran?
- Day will start in the warehouse helping to load the truck
- Delivering appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, patio furniture, etc. to customers' homes, businesses, and building sites
- Multiple deliveries per day
- Some stops may have returns to pick up.
- This account delivers to multi-family sites which requires pulling heavy items up and down 5 flights of stairs without an elevator with the assistance of a dolly and helper.
- This is a highly physical role requiring the daily loading, unloading, and installation of heavy appliances and bulky freight (furniture, fitness equipment, etc.).
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and maneuver items upwards of 600 lbs. utilizing team lifting, proper tools, and carts.
- Technical Skills: Experience with dollies, lift gates, pallet jacks, ramps, and general hand tools for assembly/installation is strongly preferred.
- Class B or C license
Pay and Shift:
- Monday to Friday shift
- Start time: 6am
- Weekends off
- Home Daily
- $65,000 per year
