Local CDL Class A Truck Drivers. 1st Shift. Weekends Off

• Labor Intensive
• Delivering and installing appliances
• 70% Retail and 30% Builder Stops
• Loads are multi-stop and include un-boxing and installation of appliances to homes, apartments and businesses.
• 30-35 average stops per week with an average of 250-500 units delivered per week.
• Will use a ramp and dolly to offload appliances unless there is a dock provided.
• Drivers will be based at cross-dock facilities in Indianapolis
• All appliances will be staged at a cross-dock for drivers to load onto the trailer
• Delivering new appliances and sometimes returning with old or damaged appliances.
• Some knowledge of installing appliances in their past is a plus.

Special Requirements:

• Training will be provided on installing appliances including electric ovens and clothes dryers, gas dryers and ovens, range hoods, drop-in ovens, dishwashers and garbage disposals.
• Training will be 3-4 weeks and will be activity-based pay
• Must be able to load/unload appliances and other heavy objects
• Should have experience working with dollies, lift gates, pallet jacks and ramps.
• Required to work with tools, general assembly/installation, and ability to read and follow service manual instructions
• Having prior local delivery experience in metro areas would be a plus

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends off
• Home Daily
• Start time between 6am to 8am

Pay:

• $81,000 per year
