Job Description
POSITION DETAILS
- Yard jockey position working approximately 60 hours per week. Overtime pay available after 40 hours.
- Basic yard driver responsibilities. Very fast paced environment. Moving trailers to and from yards. As well as, in and out of docks. Spotting trailers to and from docks and yards. Keeping the yard orderly.
- Automatic yard drivers will be working in all weather environments. (hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow)
- Must have personal, reliable transportation to and from work daily
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
YARD POSITIONS ARE VERY PHYSICAL.
- Drivers are expected to climb in and out of the yard hostlers many, many times per day. There is also a lot if walking, climbing (into and out of equipment), manual hooking and unhooking equipment, raising and lowering landing gear. All of this multiple times per day.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- WILL NOT LEAVE THE YARD. THEREFORE YARD EXPERIENCE WILL COUNT TOWARD THE POSITION.
