Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

Position Overview

The Maintenance Account Manager (AM) is a client-facing role responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while partnering with the assigned Project Manager (PM) to lead designated production crews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain proactive communication and strong business relationships with clients, property managers, HOAs, and other stakeholders to support retention and satisfaction.
• Manage and oversee maintenance contracts, ensuring production schedules are executed to meet or exceed contract expectations.
• Conduct property evaluations and client meetings to assess needs, measure satisfaction, and troubleshoot issues as needed; attend board meetings upon request.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and provide solutions to clients; collaborate with the Sales team to support new business opportunities.
• Oversee budget, reporting, and account billing in accordance with established procedures; coordinate with internal teams to resolve any issues.
• Partner with the PM to lead landscape maintenance crews of 3-5 employees, effectively utilizing labor and resources to meet coverage plans.
• Administer all aspects of performance management, including annual reviews, ongoing feedback, coaching, on-the-job training, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with HR and the PM to ensure a positive employee experience from onboarding through exit.
• Work collaboratively with peers and senior leadership on various projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• AS or BS degree in Horticulture, Construction, Customer Relationship Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience coaching and managing employees responsible for landscaping or related labor.
• Strong ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety in all aspects of work.
