What You’ll Do

As our Parts Manager, you will play a key leadership role in dealership operations:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the parts department (retail & wholesale)
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department and drive performance
  • Hire, train, coach, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
  • Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of service, body shop, and other departments
  • Partner closely with the Service Manager and Body Shop Manager to ensure timely parts availability
  • Create and maintain pricing guidelines for various customer categories
  • Monitor and adjust inventory; supervise stock order procedures
  • Guarantee all parts are properly tagged and organized
  • Provide technical assistance to team members and customers when necessary
  • Monitor expenses and department profitability
  • Develop and enforce customer service guidelines to ensure maximum satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and legal regulations
  • Promote and enforce safety standards and company values
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • At least 2–4 years of experience in a dealership parts department, with management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of AutoMate DMS or similar dealer management systems
  • Strong technical automotive knowledge
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, reporting, and the financial impact of overstocking
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with relevant software
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
