What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA (FT) | Hematology/Oncology | Ames | 2026-131 position at McFarland Clinic, P.C.?
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CNA for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: taking patients to and from the restroom, assisting nurses, assisting with the transport of patients to the hospital (by wheelchair), answering call lights, measuring vital signs and recording.
Education
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program with verification of certification.
Certification/License
- Completion of 75-hour basic Certified Nursing Assistant Program or Completion of Advanced Nurse Aide Program with certificate.
- BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
- Mandatory Reporter training or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment
Days: Monday - Friday.
Hours: 7:45 AM-4:30 PM
Experience
- Previous CNA experience needed.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
