Responsibilities
- Manage the movement of recyclables within the facility, ensuring proper segregation and storage according to safety standards.
- Perform routine cleaning of work areas, machinery, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of recyclable materials.
- Conduct safety inspections on equipment before use and report any maintenance needs or hazards immediately.
- Support sanitation efforts by maintaining cleanliness in all operational zones to promote health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow processes and meet daily recycling targets with enthusiasm and precision.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, or similar machinery in manufacturing or waste management settings.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the work shift.
- Knowledge of recycling procedures, sanitation practices, and waste management regulations is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail for inspecting equipment and sorting recyclable materials accurately.
- Valid certification for forklift operation or heavy equipment operation is a plus; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held.
