What are the responsibilities and job description for the Terminal Manager position at McElroy Truck Lines Inc?
McElroy Truck Lines is searching for a Terminal Manager for the Pleasant Hill, NC location. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a fleet of drivers, facility upkeep, maintaining relationships with dedicated customers, as well as working in conjunction with our onsite maintenance & safety facilitator.
Terminal Manager
Job Duties:
- Dispatch and work with drivers daily
- Coordinate and work with the home office for operational needs
- Remedial Training
- Random drug testing
- Coordinate equipment moves
- Work with the Maintenance facilitator to organize maintenance work flow
- Keep facilities well maintained, organized & clean
- Work with our dedicated customers to ensure all needs are met
- Address in driver issues that need in person attention
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Transportation experience
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and maintenance shop concepts
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficient with computers
- Experience with McLeod is a plus
