Do you get satisfaction from seeing a product evolve from an initial idea into something customers can actually use? Are you the kind of person who keeps teams aligned, communicates clearly, and makes sure projects stay on track? If you enjoy working across departments, solving problems, and guiding new products through every stage of development, this role might be a perfect fit.

We’re looking for a New Product Project Manager to lead multiple product development projects from concept through production. In this role, you’ll serve as the central point of coordination across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Strategy, Sales, and external partners—ensuring every new product is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with performance goals.

What You’ll Do

Lead Product Development Projects

  • Manage multiple new product development projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Support projects across a variety of product types, including Fusion, Fintube, Testing Tools, Pipe Handling, and custom applications.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria—and ensure decisions are documented and communicated.

Guide the Product Lifecycle

  • Support conceptual design, prototype development, supplier sourcing, and validation activities.
  • Facilitate smooth handoff of new designs to Production and Marketing.
  • Maintain consistent communication across Engineering, Product Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Planning, and Production.

Keep Projects Moving

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and forecasts.
  • Identify risks early, escalate issues when needed, and drive resolutions to maintain momentum.
  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings, customer meetings, design reviews, and manufacturability reviews.

Collaborate Inside and Outside the Organization

  • Work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers to secure required services and components.
  • Interface with customers and vendors to support development projects and provide post-sale support for custom applications.
  • Assist Production with special or unique customer orders and help maintain focus on priority items.

Strengthen Processes and Documentation

  • Capture lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
  • Maintain project records and historical data for estimating and planning.
  • Assist in developing and documenting product development procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Promote a Positive, Safe Work Environment

  • Maintain a friendly, service-oriented approach with coworkers, customers, and partners.
  • Promote safety, follow company policies, and support OSHA and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain familiarity with relevant software tools and participate in ongoing training.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience managing product development or new product introduction projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with customers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional engineering and production processes
  • Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead without direct authority—skilled in influencing, negotiating, and resolving conflicts
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools
  • PMI PMP certification (or similar) is a plus
  • Goal-oriented, action-focused, and able to balance customer, project, and organizational needs

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of our products
  • You’ll collaborate with talented teams across the organization
  • You’ll work on meaningful, hands-on projects that directly impact customers
  • You’ll have opportunities to grow, improve processes, and influence how products are developed
