We’re looking for a Mechanical Contractor Specialist who can build strong relationships, support mechanical contractors with confidence, and help projects run smoother from quote to closeout. You’ll be the go-to partner: part sales support, part technical translator, all-around problem-solver.
What you’ll do
- Be the trusted partner for mechanical contractors—build relationships that last beyond the current bid.
- Support the sales process with product guidance, job-specific recommendations, and clear communication.
- Work side-by-side with internal teams to match customer needs with the right solution (and the right timeline).
- Create and present quotes, proposals, and product info that make it easy for contractors to say “yes.”
- Troubleshoot mechanical system/install questions and help customers get back on track quickly.
- Stay sharp on industry trends and new tech so your advice is current and credible.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth delivery, accurate info, and happy customers.
You’re a great fit if you…
- Have 3 years in mechanical contractor sales, support, or inside/outside sales in a mechanical environment.
- Know your way around mechanical systems, products, and industry standards (and can explain them clearly).
- Are the rare combo of people-person detail person.
- Can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.
- Are confident using Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Bring a customer-first mindset and the kind of follow-through that contractors remember.
Bonus points
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Certifications or training in mechanical contracting, estimating, or sales support.
