SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have intermediate experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring, roofing, and preventative maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring that all buildings and systems remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Respond to maintenance requests, complete repairs promptly, and maintain accurate records.
- Replace and repair electrical fixtures, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and emergency lighting, ensuring safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot minor electrical issues and maintain exit signs and safety lighting.
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drains; address leaks, unclog drains, and conduct leak detection.
- Replace air filters, clean vents, and monitor thermostats for HVAC efficiency; assist with troubleshooting and report major issues.
- Repair and install doors, locks, cabinets, trim, ceiling tiles, and minor structural components.
- Patch drywall, repair water damage, and repaint walls, ensuring smooth finishes and color matching.
- Repair or replace flooring, including tile, vinyl, carpet, and laminate; fix safety hazards like loose tiles and perform minor grout repairs.
- Inspect and repair minor roofing issues, clear debris from gutters, and report major concerns.
- Operate and maintain forklifts, boom lifts, trucks, ladders, and hand tools; assist with moving heavy items.
- Perform preventative maintenance, lubricate mechanical components, and test safety systems like smoke detectors.
- Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Report hazards, correct unsafe conditions, and assist in maintaining a safe environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff, communicate updates, and coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.
