Job Description
We are seeking motivated MACS high school students to assist the Maintenance team with summer custodial and maintenance work. This position offers hands-on experience helping to maintain a clean and safe environment across multiple school campuses.
Typical Job Responsibilities
- Move furniture out of and back into classrooms
- Scrub floors using a floor scrubber
- Wet vac and mop floors
- Sweep floors
- General cleaning of classrooms including floors, walls, ceilings, windows, fixtures, and furniture
- Outside maintenance tasks such as weeding and sweeping
- Work at all three campuses throughout the summer: St Charles, Holy Ghost, and Notre Dame / McDonell
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- Attention to detail and willingness to perform cleaning duties thoroughly
- Flexibility to work at different campuses as needed
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 2 PM
