Compensation:

$17.94 - 19.97 per hour

Primary Purpose:

Under general supervision the Janitorial Worker will perform a wide variety of tasks to ensure safety and cleanliness of McDonald Wholesale offices and warehouse. This position will be scheduled for 8 hours per shift working Wednesday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Conduct sweeping of aisles and warehouse docks in both buildings.
• Regularly empty trash receptacles and clean all areas, including the warehouse, office, breakrooms, restrooms, and conference rooms.
• Sweep and mop floors, and clean carpets as required.
• Oversee office recycling processes.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards to management.
• Alert management regarding the need for repairs or maintenance.
• Handle the delivery of unscheduled orders for McDonald Wholesale customers within the Eugene DC area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Time Management: Efficiently managing time to complete cleaning tasks within scheduled hours while maintaining high quality of work.

• Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as working in various environments.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected issues, such as spills or malfunctions with cleaning equipment, and find quick and effective solutions.

• Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional service, especially in environments where interaction with clients or staff is required.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to varying tasks, schedules, and work environments, including working in different types of facilities or during different shifts.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months janitorial services
• Oregon Drivers License with approved driving record
