Department Overview The Supervisor, New Construction supports the development and delivery of new restaurant projects within anassigned market. This role is primarily focused on the front-end development process, including entitlements,design coordination, permitting, budgeting, and preparing projects for construction. The Supervisor collaborates with franchisees, internal partners, architects, and consultants to guide projectsthrough pre-construction and contractor bidding. While the role maintains oversight of construction progress, day-to-day construction activities are typically managed by an external construction manager or general contractor. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment withMcDonald’s development standards. Duties Manage the pre-construction phase of new restaurant development including entitlements, designcoordination, permitting, and budgeting. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to prepare construction documents and projectapprovals. Lead the contractor bidding process and award projects to qualified general contractors. Partner with franchisees and cross-functional teams including real estate, design, equipment, and operations. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and development milestones. Provide construction oversight and milestone tracking while collaborating with external constructionmanagers who lead day-to-day site activities. Conduct periodic site visits to ensure adherence to plans, quality standards, and safety requirements. Track project financials and provide regular status updates to leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, orrelated field preferred. 5+ years of experience in construction, development, or project management, preferably in retail, restaurant,or multi-site development. Experience with entitlements, permitting, and pre-construction planning. Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a geographic market. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Compensation Bonus Eligible: Yes Long - Term Incentive: No Benefits Eligible: Yes Salary Range The expected salary range for this role is $104,482.00 - $130,602.00 per year The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
