What You’ll Do
Lead the Team
- Keep the team motivated and on track
- Make sure everyone’s in uniform and ready to work
- Set the tone for great guest service
- Assign breaks and manage labor efficiently
- Help train new crew members and support ongoing development
- Keep things moving in the kitchen and front counter
- Meet or exceed all service goals (OEPE, KVS, VOICE, PACE, Labor, FoB, etc.)
- Complete DSPT’s at least 24 hours in advance and utilize during peak periods to optimize performance
- Complete pre-shift checklists
- Identify danger zones and react appropriately
- Conduct QSC travel path every 30 minutes, inspecting lobby, restrooms, parking lot, prioritizing and correcting issues immediately
- Complete and verify daily food safety checklist and monitor food safety procedures during shift
- Ensure guest and high-touch surfaces are clean, sanitary and stocked
- Verify completion/follow-up on all cleaning and PM maintenance tasks
- Report any crew or customer illness, injuries, or property damage immediately
- Handle guest concerns promptly, professionally and appropriately
- Communicate shift goals vs. actual performance throughout the shift
- Communicate any new and upcoming changes regarding product, people, policy
- Pass on key information to incoming manager such as equipment or staffing issues
- Provide on the spot coaching for crew members when needed
- Maintain stock levels for upcoming peaks
- Ensure cash controls are in place, including safe contents, skims, deposits, cash /-
- Complete shift cash handling and end-of-day reporting accurately
- Assist with internal/external audits and vendor visits
- All other duties as assigned
General
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- College degree preferred, but not required
- At least 1-year prior crew trainer or supervisory experience
- At least 1 year’s work experience in fast food, hospitality or retail environment
- Familiar with managing KPIs such as labor management, food waste, guest satisfaction
- ServSafe certification required to be obtained and active throughout tenure
- Allergen certification required to be obtained and active throughout tenure

Work Environment & Schedule
- Requires 95% standing and walking in a restaurant; 5% administrative
- Requires lifting up to 30 pounds
- Night, weekend and holiday availability required

- Reports to the Restaurant General Manager
- Direct reports include all crew and managers working during the designated shift
- Competitive hourly wage, pay for this position ranges from $15-$25/hour based on prior experience. Bi-weekly pay
