Fast Food Crew Member

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle cashiering duties accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting.
• Support team members with various tasks like food prep, serving guests, or cleaning to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to sanitation, food handling, and workplace safety.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming manner to foster a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, retail, grocery store work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-service or fast-food restaurant environment.
• Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
