Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Repair Technician to join our McDonald's restaurant team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate must possess HVAC certification and have experience working with commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, and building maintenance.
This role is critical to ensuring restaurant operations run efficiently and safely, minimizing equipment downtime and protecting our investment in restaurant assets.
Qualifications
Required
EPA HVAC Certification (Universal Certification preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance, HVAC, refrigeration, or commercial food-service equipment repair.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs when necessary.
Preferred
Experience working in restaurants, quick-service restaurants, or commercial kitchens.
Refrigeration certification.
Experience with McDonald's equipment and systems.
Trade school or technical certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems.
Physical Requirements
