We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage operations, staff, and budgets while ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.
This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you’ll:
o Lead the experience: Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including food production, guest service and experience, and direct crew and manager work
o Plan for success: Proactively lead and manage all People processes including but not limited to:
o Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding
o Staffing
o Performance Management
o Train, coach and motivate
o Be in the know: Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budget, and food ordering/costs
o Take action first: Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence
o Inspire and Empower: Maintain high level of standard for guest and employee safety
o Be results oriented: Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
· Manage staff training and development to foster a motivated and skilled team.
· Implement and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
· Handle cash management and ensure accurate financial reporting
· Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve business goals.
· Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
· Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
To be a successful General Manager, you’ll need:
- HSD or GED preferred;
- Passion for helping and serving others (customers and fellow team members);
- 3 years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others OR US Military Service;
- A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace;
- Strong customer service and support focus;
- The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs; and
- To provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in kitchen management or restaurant operations.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting and planning.
- Ability to train staff in cooking techniques, service standards, and operational procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and vendors.
