McDonald Ford is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing inbound internet leads, communicating with customers through phone, email, and text, and helping guide potential buyers through the early stages of the vehicle purchasing process.
The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and driven to build relationships while generating sales opportunities for our dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to internet leads, website inquiries, and online vehicle questions in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and text messaging to answer questions and provide vehicle information
- Schedule appointments for customers to visit the dealership for test drives and consultations
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the dealership CRM (E-Lead)
- Follow up consistently with customers who have expressed interest in purchasing a vehicle
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase conversion and long-term loyalty
- Work closely with the sales team and management to ensure a smooth transition from online inquiry to showroom visit
- Monitor and manage online lead activity to maximize response time and engagement
- Support dealership sales goals by generating qualified showroom appointments
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using phones, email, text messaging, and CRM software
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Sales or customer service experience preferred (automotive experience a plus)
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with internet platforms
