Job Overview
As a Roll-Off Driver and operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial roll-off truck to transport open-top containers to and from customer locations, landfills, and transfer stations. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to safely maneuver a large vehicle in tight and busy environments, perform equipment inspections, and complete basic manual labor tasks at job sites. The driver is also responsible for ensuring containers are properly placed, secured, and serviced in compliance with all applicable DOT, environmental, and company regulations. A strong mechanical aptitude, commitment to safety, and professional customer service are essential for success in this role.

This position typically works independently throughout the day and uses communication technology (e.g., tablet, phone) to stay in contact with dispatch and complete required documentation. Why join WRM and affiliated companies?

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate vacuum trucks and related equipment
• Collect and transport both liquid and solid waste, including industrial by-products and sewage
• Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance on vehicles
• Ensure waste is disposed of properly and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain professional conduct working with customers, fellow peers and the motoring public
• Maintain accurate records of waste collected, maintain driver electronic logs, and necessary documentation as required
• Other duties as assigned
• May require occasional overtime, weekends or holiday shifts as dictated by business needs

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma and/or GED
• Valid CDL-B in the state of operation (Colorado) with TANKER endorsement (Preferred)
• 1 year of CDL driving experience
• Must have a current DOT medical card.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently is required.
• Ability to work overnight shift
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No more than 1 at-fault vehicle accident in the previous 5 years
• Ability to successfully complete a background check, including, but is not limited to, verification of criminal history, employment history, and educational credentials.
• The ability to pass a drug screening will be subject to random drug tests during employment.
• Good roadside inspection history
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot vacuum trucks and related machinery.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Wage Range: 28.84 - 32.04 per hour
