McDonald Bros is looking for enthusiastic Foreman with a minimum of 3 years Construction Experience, including Earthwork, underground utilities, equipment & management experience. Requires excellent communication skills with a focus on Service and Quality.
$26-$36/ Hour DOE

Job Purpose
Foreman is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. Managing team(s), reporting to the Operations Manager and Vice President, and ensuring quality control throughout projects.
Job Description Role and Responsibilities
- Works under the general direction of the Operations Manager; assumes leadership of team.
- Performs highly responsible duties requiring judgement in organization and directing team and equipment.
- Responsible for coordinating crews on a daily and hourly basis.
- Clearly communicates expectations to team members, Operation Manager, Vice-President, and Office frequently; coordinates plans, and responds to questions.
- Reading plans regularly to ensure proper placement, proper grading and slope, projected conflicts, etc. according to project specifications.
- Setting lasers and pipe lasers for tasks.
- Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project.
- Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports and material inventory to Operations Manager and Estimator.
- Lead, coach, train, and motivate team members on a proactive basis.
- Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution.
- Acts as a team member as well as a supervisor for teams engaged in Earthwork, laying utilities, paving, and maintenance.
- Operates heavy equipment as well as labor tasks as necessary for completion of projects.
- Required to maintain cleanliness and proper supplies for work truck- Current Drivers License Required.
- Enforce all safety regulations, identify potential hazards, and address safety concerns immediately.
- Conducts weekly safety meetings and follows all safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
