About your role:
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, pulling parts, cataloging, and preparing items for shipment.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for shipping, receiving, cataloging, picking, and pulling parts.
- Unpacks and checks in on parts orders and puts them away in their specific destinations based on part type and style.
- Prepares orders for shipment from the dealership and ships all outgoing packages for deliveries using proper packaging materials.
- Maintains basic shipping and receiving logs.
- Refuses packages that are not addressed to our name and address.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.
- Follow scheduled hours as needed, defined by your manager.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience & Qualifications Needed to be Successful:
- 1 - 3 years of automotive parts experience is preferred.
- 1 - 3 years of shipping and receiving experience is preferred.
Specialized Skills:
- Basic computer skills for data entry and receiving and shipping parts.
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software/internet proficiency.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in customer, employee, and management interactions.
- Must maintain a valid state driver’s license to drive any customer or company vehicle.
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
- Familiarity with specific dealer brand parts is preferred.
