McDermott is looking for an engineering intern to join our Civil, Structural, and Architectural team. As an intern, you will have the chance to learn about the structural design of Onshore Oil & Gas, LNG, and Renewables Industry projects, including structures, piperacks, modules, and foundations. You will work in a project team environment, engaging with peers and mentors as you develop and review engineering documentation and grow in your career.

Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the development of project technical documents related to structural engineering, such as calculations, construction specifications, material take off, scope of work, estimates, etc.
- Support the review and processing of supplier documents
- Help coordinate and status engineering work
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Within a one or two semesters from graduation with bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university
- Strong analytical and mathematic skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and professionalism
- Experience with using MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel)
- A growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept improvement feedback
- Eligible to work in the United States
