McDermott Aviation, a global leader in heli-aviation with operations across Australia, Europe, and the USA, is looking for a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to support our North American operations.
About the Role
You will manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding while ensuring compliance with U.S. labor laws. This role requires working independently to handle day-to-day HR operations while closely partnering with our Australian HR team to maintain global alignment and a consistent company culture.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Provide day-to-day HR support across U.S operations
β’ Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
β’ Advise managers and employees on HR policies, performance matters, and conflict resolution
β’ Maintain HR records, coordinate payroll, and administer benefits programs
β’ Support training, health and safety, and HR initiatives
What We Are Looking For
β’ 2 to 3 plus years HR generalist experience, cross-border experience is a plus
β’ Knowledge of U.S. labor laws; knowledge of Canadian labor laws a bonus
β’ Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
β’ Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented
β’ Aviation or industrial sector experience is a bonus

Pay: $50,000 to $68,000 per year
