This hands-on role focuses on maintaining and repairing GSE, managing inventory, and building shipping crates to ensure the safe transport of aircraft components and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair Ground Support Equipment (GSE) such as fixtures, dollies, and component stands.
- Track and document GSE and tooling using an online inventory system.
- Build durable, well-fitted shipping crates for aircraft parts, tools, and equipment.
- Perform basic hydraulic repairs and minor fabrication as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following aviation safety standards.
- Support process improvements for equipment handling, storage, and maintenance.
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or tracking software preferred
- Basic woodworking skills, including crate building
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic hydraulic repair skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Basic welding/fabricating skills (preferred)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
