We are looking to hire Machine Operators to run a variety of print finishing equipment. A great candidate will have experience operating print/print finishing machinery while maintaining a high-quality standard. Candidates with experience in die cutting, foil stamping, or folding and gluing are encouraged to apply.
Your day-to-day tasks would include:
- Operating a variety of print finishing equipment
- Completing job tickets
- Maintaining equipment by cleaning and adjusting as needed
- Performing quality checks
- Any other tasks assigned by the Production Supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the print or finishing industry (preferred)
- Good mechanical aptitude
- An eye for detail and quality
- Good oral and written communication and familiarity with reading job tickets
Shift
- We are hiring for 2nd shift. The training schedule is Monday - Friday (3:00pm - 11:00 pm).
**We are planning on switching to weekend schedules (listed below). This includes options for 10-hour shifts. All hours worked on weekends would include a shift differential of $1/hour. START DATE IS YET TO BE DETERMINED.
- 10-Hour: Wednesday – Saturday (3:00pm – 1:00am)
- 8-Hour: Tuesday – Saturday (3:00pm – 11:00pm)
- 10-Hour: Sunday – Wednesday (3:00pm – 1:00am)
- 8-Hour: Sunday – Thursday (3:00pm – 11:00pm)
Shift Differential
- Pay is dependent on experience in the print industry
- $0.75/hour for 2nd shift positions
Physical Demands
- Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodations
- Periodic twisting, lifting, and bending
Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience operating the following machinery: Bobst, Kluge, Polar Cutter, Thompson, Iijima, Jagenburg, Steinemann, and Sakurai.
