Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Wastewater Operator to join our team at McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) in Apollo, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while contributing to our mission of protecting the environment for future generations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment used in wastewater treatment.
- Collect and analyze data related to water quality and treatment efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the operation of heavy equipment as needed for facility operations.
- Respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues within distributed control systems.
- Participate in training programs to stay current on industry best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred.
- Experience in wastewater treatment or related field is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of distributed control systems and logic controllers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely.
- Excellent data collection and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
