Position Summary
We’re seeking an Employment Law Attorney with 5–7 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid role based out of our Ontario or Redlands offices.
In this role, you’ll manage and litigate sophisticated employment matters from intake through resolution, working alongside experienced trial attorneys and legal professionals. This is an opportunity to take ownership of impactful cases while advocating for employees navigating some of the most challenging moments of their careers.
What You’ll Do (The Mission at Hand)
- Lead employment law matters from pre-litigation through trial or resolution
- Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with senior partners
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs with precision
- Manage all phases of discovery, including depositions and witness preparation
- Represent clients in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour violations
- Advise clients on workplace rights, damages, and litigation strategy
- Negotiate settlements aligned with clients’ legal and personal objectives
- Collaborate with investigators, experts, and litigation support teams
What You Bring to the Fight
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 5–7 years of employment law litigation experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to independently manage cases and develop litigation strategy
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Confident advocacy skills in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
- A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for employee advocacy
Preferred Experience
- Plaintiff-side employment litigation experience
- Experience with FEHA, CFRA/FMLA, and wage-and-hour claims
- Familiarity with contingency-based litigation
- Experience handling cases from intake through trial or arbitration
- Familiarity with Litify or similar case-management platforms
- A strong commitment to workplace justice and accountability
