MEDIATION SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly organized scheduling coordinator to coordinate the calendars of multiple attorneys/mediators. In this role, you will be scheduling/confirming mediations for various mediators.
To ensure success, scheduling coordinators should possess solid knowledge of scheduling practices and demonstrate experience in a similar role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate will
- Maintain and update calendars for multiple mediators
- Verify the availability of the mediators
- Confirm mediations whether in-person or virtual
- Sending out reminders of scheduled mediations
- Rescheduling or canceling mediations in a timely manner
- Answering scheduling inquiries via e-mail and phone
- Perform other administrative tasks when required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma.
- A minimum of three years of related work experience and/or training.
- Extensive experience with MS Word, Outlook Access and Zoom.
- Advance knowledge of confirming and rescheduling mediations, as well as recordkeeping practices.
- Advanced ability to keep mediators informed of scheduled changes and to answer inquiries.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED:
- Law Firm Experience
- Calendaring Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to type 50-60 wpm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
