What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR/Office Manager position at McCree General Contractors and Architects, Inc.?
Coordinates activities of clerical personnel in the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
̈ Supervises, manages, and maintains facility including all aspects of appearance, energy, sources, and
gates.
̈ Determine, eliminate, and maintain office files including inner office, vault, design plans from past
and present.
̈ Formulate procedures for the systematic retention, protection retrieval, transfer, and disposal of
records.
̈ Responsible for office layout and initiates cost reduction programs.
̈ Supervise the purchase of office supplies. Prepares, manages, and oversees department budget.
̈ Attend and participate as a team member of the Executive Committee.
̈ Recruit qualified candidates from internal and external sources for positions throughout the
organization.
̈ Provide expertise in assessing education training and development needs and identification of high
potential employees.
̈ Produce and manage all formal policies and procedures governing all conditions of employment,
including but not limited to, insurances, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
̈ Manage all cash payments to all employees and the systems by which all positions are evaluated,
including but not limited to salary and wage ranges/bands and adjustments, commissions, lump sum
payments, incentive payments, and bonuses.
̈ Improve communications to produce effective functioning management and employee teams,
establish the desired company culture, and respond to changing conditions.
̈ Maintain and protect the company's employees, assets, and human resource documents,
information, and facilities.
̈ Prepare, store, and maintain all employee records and all information as required by federal, state,
and local regulations.
̈ Work on retaining personnel.
̈ Responsible for Worker's Compensation incident reporting, claims, and follow-up.
̈ Responsible for actions of all personnel that are direct reports.
̈ Performs all functions of an Executive Assistant to the Chairman.
̈ Coordinates company events (i.e. meetings, picnic, special occasions, and luncheons).
̈ Purchases all company apparel and safety equipment.
̈ Maintain confidentiality as necessary/directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Coordinates maintenance staff to ensure property maintenance is completed as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Requirements:
Computer literate, utilizing all McCree software proficiently.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Encouraged to be active in civic organizations to help promote the company within the community.
