Metro Equipment & Sheetmetal, part of the McCrea family of companies, is hiring a reliable Sheet Metal Fabricator. You’ll be hands-on fabricating ductwork and components for HVAC equipment, operating shop machinery safely, and following technical schematics. This is a hardworking, detail-oriented role — perfect for someone who takes pride in precise work and dependable attendance.
Duties:
- Fabrication of ductwork and components for HVAC equipment.
- Properly and safely handle various hand tools.
- Follow instructions and work from direction.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Safely operate various shop machines and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to life up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, climb, and carry objects with ease.
- Good mobility and dexterity for handling sharp objects safely.
- Physical experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment a plus.
- Previous sheet metal fabrication experience a plus.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
