Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney dealing specifically with Social Security Disability claims. This position can be in any of our 8 office locations across South Caroline (Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg, Laurens, Greenwood, Saluda, Columbia). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing clients for their disability hearing and conducting disability hearings. They will work directly under one of the partners alongside a team of attorneys and case managers to provide exceptional customer service and results for our clients. Key responsibilities include conducting legal research, conducting hearing prep appointments, monitoring files, providing sound legal advice, and representing clients during court proceedings. Collaboration with other attorneys in the firm and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of social security disability law will also be essential.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide clear and concise Legal Advice to clients
- Experience in Social Security Disability is preferred, but not required
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in any state and in good standing with the state bar
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
