Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation with experience completing written discovery, motions practice, and defending/taking depositions. Trial experience is a plus, but not required.* The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury matters throughout the entirety of the case, from initial client meeting through resolution.

Duties

• Develop and maintain rapport with clients.
• Provide legal advice throughout the course of representation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and court memoranda.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all case activities and developments.
• Collaborate with staff and other attorneys and staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive client service.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Connecticut.
• 4 years experience in personal injury
• Proficiency in legal drafting and research methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Additional compensation available via referral fees, as well as annual bonuses for high performing individuals.

*Salary commensurate with trial experience.

Base Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
