McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions, has an opening for a Shop Service Technician.

The Shop Service Technician position is responsible for repairing and maintaining electric, diesel and gasoline industrial, construction and forestry equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Must have heavy equipment and construction equipment experience.

· Ability to make major and minor repairs on construction and forestry equipment, including but not limited to, diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, transmission & axles, cooling systems, chassis repairs, and some

· Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, attachment installation, etc.

· Utilize a computer or mobile device to perform diagnostic tests and maintain accurate records of repairs.

· Maintain cleanliness in the shop.

· Must have basic computer skills.

· You must possess a valid driver’s license.

Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:

· 2 years of related diesel technician experience.

· Engine overhaul experience
