McCowan Berrones & Company is a boutique general contractor specializing in high-end custom residential construction throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee luxury residential projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining the exceptional level of craftsmanship and client service our reputation is built upon.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day field operations from project startup through closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, architects, and designers.
- Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and jobsite organization.
- Lead punch list completion and project turnover.
Qualifications
- 7 years of superintendent experience, preferably in custom or luxury residential construction.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and building practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
