What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Superintendent position at MCCORVEY COMPANIES?
McCorvey Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated company located in Irving, TX. McCorvey Sheet Metal works primarily on larger projects such as hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools, and many other vertical markets. We are currently seeking a highly experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent to join our team!
Requirements:
- Must have 4 years of experience as a commercial HVAC – Sheet Metal Superintendent overseeing ductwork for large projects and remodels
- Able to pass a drug test and background
- Legally eligible to work in the US
- High school diploma
- Current Driver’s License
- Proficient in English language
- Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications
- Able to retro fit and hand take offs
- Full knowledge of ductwork, duct systems, water gauge, and different materials used
- Work with fellow employees with a respectful and tolerant attitude
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Line out employees each day on jobsite
- Work necessary hours to hit mandatory deadlines
- Fill out Daily Reports, 3 Week Look Ahead, percent complete on project, and turn in employee’s time
- Communicate with Project Managers and General Superintendent every day
- Attend onsite meetings with Mechanical and GC
- Install the highest quality product
- Represent McCorvey in a professional manner
