RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate between scheduling and warehouse team daily concerning any raw material variances
- Return remaining raw materials after Preweigh processes complete according to warehouse specifications
- Follow all instructions on production cards and daily schedule
- Keep accurate production records and accurate reporting in SAP and report information daily
- Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished goods for proper weight, color, overall appearance, texture, labeling, packaging, and correcting/reporting defects
- Coordinate with supervisors daily concerning any scheduling variances and process improvements.
- Perform proper sanitation, housekeeping, and safety procedures
- Help maintain equipment, reporting, and/or resolving any breakdowns or problems
- Participate in all team/department meetings
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a dusty environment with strong odors and high noise/decibel levels
- Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents
- Ability to work overtime on short notice and on weekends
- Ability to work in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or GED
- Proven mechanical ability
- Preweigh experience
- SAP experience
