McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for an Associate Project Manager in our Transportation Engineering Department. The ideal candidate must have in-depth technical knowledge in the transportation engineering field and have a passion for success. We are seeking an individual who can handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well in hybrid remote office environment. Strong written, interpersonal and oral communication skills, attention to detail and ability to organize is required.

Job Requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform design procedures and plan presentations
- Coordinate and assist with all staff necessary to complete assignments and mentor supporting staff
- Develop experience and skill in project management, managing staff, and staff development
- Able to work effectively in both office and field, and coordinate with clients
- Responsible for project schedule and budget, client interface, interaction with other disciplines/offices, staff development
- Deliver quality projects in accordance with accepted schedule and budget
- Support of marketing activities and proposal writing
- Possess well-established client relationships and continue to identify and recruit new ones, leading to procurement of work
- Develop project management and budgeting skills
- Attend project meetings and support presentations on specific projects/concepts
- Provide QA/QC and technical accuracy of work
- Manage moderate to small projects and/or larger tasks of a project
- Developing knowledge in invoicing, status reports, accounts receivable, related accounting needs, and contract management
- Enthusiastic and dependable leader with a passion for growth
- 5 Years
- BS in Civil Engineering, MS is a plus
- PE Certification required
- Working knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, InRoads, and OpenRoads are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- High level of understanding of design manual and design standards
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Final Design development- design calculations and drawing details
