What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Litigation Medical Clerk position at McCormick Law Firm?
McCormick Law Firm is seeking Medical Clerks to help in the day to day operations of this rapidly growing business. Applicants should be prepared to display critical thinking and attention to detail in a high volume, fast paced environment. While legal field experience is preferred it is not required.
Duties include:
- Daily communication with your team, which consists of a pre-litigation attorney and case manager
- Responsible for requesting all treatment bills and records for each client assigned to your team
- Set up health insurance liens
- Request insurance estimates and photos
- Daily medical treatment calls to clients assigned to your team
- Verify balances
- Organize invoices
- Input information into our client management system and check for correctness
This is an hourly position with pay based on experience.
